Mitch and Zaka Slawsky were twin brothers at the Naval Ordnance Laboratory in White Oak, MD, who were also active in promoting physical science at the University of Maryland. Zaka Slawski was instrumental in recruiting professor A. Michels and Professor Jan Burgers to the University of Maryland.
