Research Interests: 

Dr. Xu's lab uses highly multiplexed spatial molecular profiling to study the cellular microenvironments of disease, with a particular interest in cancers including lymphoma and ovarian cancer. The lab's goal is to quantify spatial interactions in these dynamic tumor microenvironments as the basis for models of cancer immunity, metastasis, and tumor progression, to ultimately propose predictive spatial biomarkers and therapy candidates to improve patient outcomes.
