Research Interests: Si3N4/SiO2 integrated nanophotonic devices on Si, complex waveguide Bragg gratings and genetic algorithm, quantum information and integration, GaN light sources, and quantum dot GaAs/AlGaAs, CIGS and perovskite photovoltaics. He also has interest in high power semiconductor laser sources, semiconductor optical amplifiers (SOAs), superluminescent LEDs, detectors, modulators, and in the integration of these components.
