Peter Yoon and the Kinetic Theory of Weakly Turbulent Nonlinear Processes

Senior Research Scientist Peter Yoon (IPST) authored the book "Classical Kinetic Theory of Weakly Turbulent Nonlinear Plasma Processes," published by Cambridge University Press. In Yoon's preface, he describes the book as providing "...a systematic overview of the kinetic theory of weak plasma turbulence from a modern perspective." A copy of the book is available in our Olver Room book collection.

A Fellow of the American Physical Society, Yoon was appointed a Senior Research Leader by the Korea Space Science and Astronomy Institute, Daejeon, Korea (2017-2020). He also holds the position of International Scholar Professor at Kyung Hee University, Yongin, Korea.
