Mikayla Greiner receives NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

Biophysics graduate student Mikayla Greiner has been selected as one of four graduate students in the College of Computer, Mathematical, and Natural Sciences to receive the 2024 NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes outstanding graduate students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics and provides three years of financial support to recipients.

Mikayla, currently in her second year of the Biophysics graduate program, is studying the intermediate filament vimentin and its role in T cell activation within Arpita Upadhyaya's research group.
