New JQI Fellow Harnesses Light for Emerging Quantum Tech - Avik Dutt
Avik Dutt, an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering and IPST, has been named a JQI Fellow. His lab studies the quantum behavior of light and builds devices, such as quantum sensors, that put it to work. Recent projects include creating synthetic dimensions with coupled resonators and developing compact chips that squeeze light to record-low noise levels.
