Tiwary awarded OpenEye Outstanding Junior Faculty Award

IPST and Chemistry/Biochemistry Assistant Professor Pratyush Tiwary has been awarded an American Chemical Society Division of Computers in Chemistry's (COMP) OpenEye Outstanding Junior Faculty Award for Fall 2021. The awards are designed to assist new faculty members in gaining visibility within the COMP community.  Awardees will present their work in the COMP division at the Fall 2021 Atlanta ACS National Meeting.

Tiwary was recently featured on the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry's website. "...There is no place in the world which compares to Maryland in the quality of theoretical chemistry and statistical mechanics," Tiwary said.
